A few days ago, we got an email from Misti. She had recently adopted her cat, they named Wilfred, from the Animal Shelter here in Temple.
He was in such need of a grooming we or the staff couldn't even tell what gender he was.
After she'd given him some much needed bathing & grooming, they discovered Wilfred was a neutered male. He is an older cat, around 10.
When he got his first bath he was as calm as can be and actually seemed to appreciate it.
He immediately greets us when we come home, and sleeps by our heads at night. I've always wanted a Persian but could never bring myself to go to a breeder for one. Finding one so beautiful and with a perfect personality was amazing luck.
He gets along great with my young daughter, my dogs, and my other cats. I've attached some pre and post bath pictures. Thank you guys so much for the work you do.
What a beautiful cat he is! I think his name is perfectly suited for him. I am cooing over here, at the pictures of his cute little fuzzy face shhhh..I know, I am such a dork, but he has a mustache! He is just so cute. How lucky for you both to have found each other!
We are always so happy to receive these stories (and pictures) from people who choose adoption.
